If you enjoyed The Last of Us at all, I'm sure you'll love this too. I HIGHLY recommend anyone reading this to just play it if you haven't already, it only takes a couple hours. I bought the stand alone version of Left Behind because it's on sale.
But way too many are actual homophobia, and *those* can definitely be ignored. The Left Behind board is dead, so I thought I'd ask here. I do kind of get where some of these negative reviews from 2014 were coming from, given the price at the time.
Seeing her connection with Riley so closely makes it so much more heartbreaking for her character and everything she's been through. Ellie and Riley sneak out of school for the last time, leading to a series of events that will forever. After disappearing for weeks, Riley returns with a surprising revelation on her whereabouts. Very happy there were no compromises on the graphics or any other aspects of quality, especially storytelling. New light is shed on Ellie’s relationship with Riley, her best friend and sometime-mentor from a military boarding school they grew up in together.
